All-Electric Controlled
Residential Apartments
I. Applicability
Applicable to residential uses in an
apartment building consisting of 3 or more units and is all-electric. The
electric water heater and central air conditioner must be controlled by a
load management switch. Subject to the established rules of the Cooperative.
II. Type Of Service
Single-phase, 60 Hertz, at available secondary
voltages

IV. Summer/Winter Definition
Summer rates shall apply on the first
monthly billing period ending after June 1 of each year and on the following
three successive billing periods. The winter rates shall apply to the
remaining eight monthly billing periods.
V. Minimum Charge
The minimum monthly charge shall be
the facilities charge where 15 kVA or less of transformer capacity is
required. For consumers requiring in excess of 15 kVA, the minimum will be
the facilities charges plus $1.25 for each kVA of transformer capacity, or
fraction thereof, in excess of 15 kVA.
VI. Load Management Controls
A load management switch shall be
installed on the electric water heater. Where a central air conditioner is
in place, a load management switch shall be installed on the air
conditioning unit. During periods of load control, as determined by the
Cooperative, the switches will interrupt the water heater and cycle the air
conditioner unit. Tampering with the load control device or control wiring
is grounds for withdrawal of this rate.
VII. Taxes
An amount equal to the taxes assessed
by any taxing authority or agency of government for the sale or furnishing
of electric energy and/or service by the Cooperative to the consumer shall
be paid by the consumer to the Cooperative.
