Rider A
Controlled Air Conditioning Rate
I. Applicability
Available to all members of the
Cooperative receiving electric service under any of the Cooperative’s
non-demand rate schedules. Member must have an approved central electric air
conditioning system, controlled with a radio controlled switch by the
Cooperative. Subject to the established rules of the Cooperative.
II. Terms And Conditions

The
Cooperative shall provide the member with a meter, meter base and radio
controlled switch.

The
member shall allow the Cooperative to cycle the air conditioner compressor
during peak demand periods.

Air
conditioning kWhs shall be submetered by the Cooperative.

The
member shall be responsible for the installation of the meter base, 240
volt wiring and low voltage control wiring.

This
rate shall only apply to those kWhs required for the air conditioner
compressor and outdoor fan during the four summer usage months as defined
in the applicable rate schedule of the master meter.

All
usage, other than air conditioning, shall be billed at the rate applicable
to the master meter.

Tampering with the load control device or control wiring is grounds for
withdrawal of this rate.

VI. Taxes
An amount equal to the taxes
assessed by any taxing authority or agency of government for the sale or
furnishing of electric energy and/or service by the Cooperative to the
consumer shall be paid by the consumer to the Cooperative.
V. Minimum Charge
All charges under this rider will be
applied to the master meter account charges to determine whether a minimum
is applicable.
